about me

Born and raised in San Diego, CA, my design education started in my backyard, with my father who was a carpenter. I was that girl that thought (and still thinks) she could do EVERYTHING a boy could… so he gave me a tool belt, wood, nails and a hammer and taught me how to use them.

My formal education began while studying Architecture at PRATT Institute in NYC, and has since expanded through online education, books and life. You can never stop learning.

ro² was created to share my ideas and projects with you. I could spend the entire day in my garage, with my music blasting, sketching, designing, building and dancing (to get my creative juices flowing of course)! This is my happy place.

Inspiration can come from anything… but for me it stems from my loved ones. Making something from scratch for them, means putting my heart and soul into what I make, and giving it to them as a present. My biggest joy is to see it bring a smile to their face.

Everything I create, I have used myself or have given to a loved one. My projects might not follow a specific theme, but I create what I want to see out in the world. Knowing someone out there is using something I made… priceless!

LOVES OF MY LIFE: My wonderful husband and puppy Luna. Coming home to them every day makes me the happiest woman in the world.
